Electronic trading demands extreme performance, with a specific focus on execution speed and low-latency network data handling. A critical component of the technology stack is the server the trading application runs on, and the ability for that server to ingest market data, process and react to it. The AMD family of low-latency Ethernet Adapters, also known as Network Interface Cards (NICS), are designed specifically for ultra-low latency and, when paired with a Blackcore server, can provide the ultimate performance required for successful trading deployments worldwide. Over 90% of Blackcore clients are using AMD low-latency NICs as part of their technology stack. By working closely with AMD, we provide clients with increased access to the experts who design and develop the technology they rely on every day. We’re also able to better engineer Blackcore servers to maximize the advantages of AMD hardware as well as plan more effectively for future developments. Lastly, this collaboration has enabled us to provide benchmarks on AMD hardware that we can be confident are configured correctly and reporting accurately – allowing greater transparency on the performance traders can expect from the combined Blackcore and AMD solution.
Today, we also announce our first two joint reports, testing the ACE 3100-RZ overclocked server paired with the AMD Alveo™ X3522 and X4522 Ethernet Adapters.
