At the end of Q1 we launched FLEX. A project that we had been developing for a while behind the scenes. The FLEX range of servers is designed for unique FPGA use cases, tailored to real-world client demands. The first release of the range was the FLEX 3100-SX+ server, which supports up to four double-width FPGAs. This powerhouse is purpose-built to allow clients to run multiple different strategies or consolidate an increasing number of market data feeds into a single box.
Team Blackcore attended the Spring round of STAC Summits in London and New York, and CTO James Lupton took to the stage during the Innovation Round-up sessions at both events. During these sessions, he delivered an insightful presentation titled "The Truth About Overclocking: Finding the best fit for your performance needs." James tackled the important factors that should drive clients' decision-making when it comes to choosing overclocked server technology.
In June, we headed to London to host our second UK Summer Social Event in partnership with Intel. On Thursday, June 12th, we welcomed our clients, partners, and vendors to a rooftop in Shoreditch on one of the hottest days of the year. Despite the city's heat, we enjoyed a great evening of conversation, delicious drinks, and canapés. This provided us with a fantastic opportunity to strengthen connections, share insights, and celebrate our collaborations in a relaxed and vibrant setting.
In July, we celebrated ten years of Blackcore Technologies. Over the past decade, Blackcore has evolved significantly, from expanding our product range and growing our expert team to becoming the leading high-performance overclock solution for clients around the world. As part of our anniversary celebrations, we shared an article titled ‘10 Things we have learned in the last 10 years...’ Since we launched in 2015, we've faced our fair share of challenges, and we believe in being open about them! It's through those experiences that we've grown, evolved, and continued to innovate.
2025 is the first full year of the Blackcore Labs program. We are incredibly proud of the impact that the program is already having and the opportunities that have followed. This year, we collaborated with AMD Solarflare, Orthogone Technologies, and Xelera Technologies. Each partner has a dedicated page on our website, where you can learn about their product and download the benchmark reports. We will continue to test their products on different Blackcore servers and upload new benchmarks to provide a full scope of results across our entire product set. This fall, we attended three events across three countries: Germany, the US & the UK. First up, we exhibited at the Deutsche Börse Open Day in Eschborn, Germany. This was our first time at the Cube, and the team enjoyed the day of networking, workshops, and presentations. Followed by an evening event in Frankfurt.
To kick off Q4, we launched our brand-new website, a project that the team had been working on from the start of the year. Our previous website was becoming outdated; we believed that our products and services could be showcased in a much more innovative and user-friendly way. Our product pages are now easier to navigate, packed with more technical data, and even include inside peeks into our servers. The new Labs Center highlights our Blackcore Labs program, showcasing our collaborations with partners and benchmark achievements.
In October, we exhibited at the STAC Summits in London and New York and hosted exclusive drinks events afterward. This was particularly memorable because we collaborated with AMD Solarflare to launch their new AMD Solarflare™ X4522 Ethernet Adapters. We had conducted tests with the card in our ACE 3100-RZ overclocked server, which proved that Blackcore® servers deliver measurable latency improvements over stock configurations. Across minimum achievable, median, and 99th percentile latency, our servers demonstrate consistently lower latency and more stable performance. For UDP traffic accelerated with onload, Blackcore’s overclocking delivers up to a 20% reduction in latency when compared to stock setups.
At the Fall STAC Summits, AMD Solarflare announced the new AMD Alveo™ X4522 Ethernet Adapters, and we shared our testing data comparing the AMD Alveo™ X3522 and X4522 Ethernet Adapters when configured inside Blackcore overclocked servers. Our CTO, James Lupton, captivated audiences with his presentation, "Accelerating Next-Gen Low-Latency NICs with Blackcore® Overclocking." The day led to many insightful conversations and proved the importance of our Labs programme.
While in New York, as well as exhibiting at STAC, we also launched the ACE 3100-TX+ & ACE 3100-TS+ overclocked servers, powered by the AMD Threadripper PRO 9995WX and 9975WX processors. In addition to this, we also occupied two Times Square billboards throughout the day with our vibrant video adverts. We figured the green glow of Blackcore over Times Square would be the perfect end to our events for 2025!
It's been another incredible year, and a lot of hard work has culminated in some major milestones being realized in the second half of 2025.
We have firmly solidified our place as the go-to experts in providing overclocked hardware for electronic trading. This is reflected in our products, the clients that choose us, and the technical articles that we are publishing via our Labs program.
This was demonstrated most clearly when AMD chose us to present independent benchmarks of their new Solarflare X4 range at the official launch in London and the overwhelming response to that collaboration has been amazing.
Additionally, as part of our growth strategy, we brought online a new dedicated production facility and reorganized many internal teams to focus better on delivering the innovation, quality, and service that our clients have come to expect.
This included lifting up key members of staff, and creating new teams and roles, creating increased career progression and opportunities within Blackcore.
Doing this whilst hitting record production and revenue milestones shows the incredible dedication, flexibility, and strength each and every one of our staff members brings to the team.
I'm incredibly proud of everything we've achieved this year and look forward to continuing to develop our client and partner relationships into next year and beyond.
2025 has been a fantastic year of growth for Blackcore - from expanding our manufacturing capabilities to reduce overall lead times to launching over 10 new AMD-based products focused on increasing client choice in the overclocked server space and 2 new products focused exclusively on large FPGA deployments - we've managed to expand our capabilities without negatively impacting our client experience.
Blackcore is now positioned to cater to any needs in the high-performance electronic trading space. Our goal to excel at building the most reliable product in the market, expanding the tooling ecosystem around overclocked servers, and engaging with clients to pre-configure and tune servers prior to delivery has clearly demonstrated our commitment to helping our clients over and beyond the needs of the server. Coupled with the growth of Blackcore Labs and our Global Strategic Partnership program, we've engaged with the overall electronic trading industry, as we know a server never just runs in isolation in a data center.
From our name in lights in Times Square during STAC this year to every client discussion this year, we're excited to see how we've grown, and we are looking forward to continuing to deliver for our clients in 2026 and beyond.
