2022 in Review
In 2022 we have shipped hundreds of systems to data centers and clients across the globe. We are so proud that year after year the number of Blackcore customers is increasing; the list includes some of the biggest companies in the world.
This year saw us launch our latest generation of Blackcore overclocked servers – GENERATION 3, in New York City, a few blocks from Wall Street. Our launch event was attended by New York’s finest in financial trading. At the event we unveiled the three new G3 systems, we shipped out 1U, 2U & 3U units so our guests could see how the system architecture differs between each form factor. Our excellent partners at Intel also spoke during our presentation about their upcoming new technology.
The first GENERATION 3 release featured Intel’s 12th Gen Core i9 CPUs, codenamed Alder Lake. Since then, we have seen impressive 15% IPC gains over rocket lake and brand-new technologies like DDR5, which has greatly benefitted our clients. The second release of GENERATION 3 will feature Intel's latest 4th Gen Intel® Xeon® processors, codenamed Sapphire Rapids. After the launch, we will be launching an overclocked server built upon this new processor and our innovative new cooling technology. More on this in the new year!
